How to Choose the Right Pet for Your Home and Lifestyle

Do your research before getting on specific type of pet or breeds that you want. Some breeds require certain needs that should also fits with your lifestyle. Like energy levels, personality and temperament. Most of them requires playtime, toys, or exercise.

Dog

Dogs are loyal and a very friendly companion, they have active lifestyle and needs time for exercise. It will also give you a sense of security and protection by alerting you to potential threat.  They are very fun and entertaining to play with and can learn different kind of tricks.

A small dog tends to live longest, and they are often more manageable in terms of grooming and feeding. These breeds are great for apartment living as it requires minimum exercise, they do fine without regular walks or play

A medium dog is often known for being intelligent, and trainable. They are active but not as demanding as larger breeds. These dogs often have a balanced temperament, making them suitable for households with children. They need regular exercise, but their energy levels are usually moderate

A large dog is often known for being loyal and mostly calmer. They are great for active families with a larger home. These dogs often require more food and grooming, and they benefit from having a yard to play in. They are also known for their loyalty and protective nature.

Cat

Cats are independent and low-maintenance pets. They are perfect for people with busy schedules. They are perfect for people with small spaces. Cats need regular feeding, a clean litter box, and some playtime, by petting them cat can also give calmness, lowering stress, and anxiety. They also often live longer than dogs.

Size – While most cats is considered medium there are some who is considered small and it can also influence their needs, behavior, and overall health depending on their size.

Grooming needs – The size of a cat can also impact its grooming needs. The larger cat may require more frequent grooming to keep them in good condition, while smaller cat may need less maintenance.
